Terms and Conditions
1. Pricing
All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated, which will be charged at the current rate. Children's garments up to 12-13 years are not charged VAT.
2. General Warranty
Although Screen Machine UK Limited uses quality materials, due to the wide variation in laundering conditions and detergents, Screen Machine UK Limited does not guarantee against fading or shrinkage of garments during laundering.
3. Substitutions
Screen Machine UK Limited reserves the right to substitute materials of equal or better quality without notification.
4. Dye Lot
Due to the practise of batch processing knitted goods when they are dyed. Screen Machine UK Limited cannot guarantee consistency of colour on garments from dye lot to dye lot, or from one order to the next.
5. Online Shop
Our Online Shop is provided by one of our suppliers, all details and images are for guidance only, we do not take responsibility for any differences in colour or design on any of the items.
6. Changes
Screen Machine UK Limited reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove any of the goods on this site.
7. Returns
Due to the customised nature of the products, refunds are not available on customised orders unless the products are defective. If you believe your products are defective you must contact Screen Machine UK Limited within two weeks of the invoice date. Returns will not be accept if products have been used, worn or washed.
We cannot give refunds or exchange goods that are ordered incorrectly. Please check your order.
8. Packaging
All goods will be wrapped in plain wrapping and well protected, we reserve the right to decide the most cost effective method.
9. Shipping and postal prices
To UK mainland only, delivery costs are available based on quantity ordered. At present we do not offer an overseas delivery service.
10. Complaints
Senior management will deal with all complaints. It is Screen Machine UK Limited's policy to deal with such complaints within 5 working days.
11. Customers Goods and materials
All goods and materials supplied by the customer are printed strictly at their own risk. Screen Machine UK Limited will not be held responsible for any damages to the customers' materials/goods that may occur during the printing process.
12. Privacy and data protection.
We use your personal details in order to prepare and deliver your goods, as well as providing customer service. We do not pass these details to third parties, and they are kept confidential at all times. Furthermore, no credit card details are held, once a transaction is complete they are removed from our system.
13. Order cancellation
In the case of an order cancellation, if Screen Machine UK Limited has already commenced work on the order, we shall be entitled to full reimbursement for any costs already incurred, including penalties or restocking charges that our suppliers may charge us. This reimbursement shall be taken from the advance and the balance refunded to the Customer.
14. Condition of customer supplied artwork.
Estimates for printing are based on customer supplying same size or larger, colour or black & white artwork or in electronic format that is 'camera ready' and requiring no touch up or clean up. Additional time needed to make artwork, camera ready shall be billed at current rates.
15. Colour proofing.
Because of difference in equipment, garments, inks and other conditions between colour proofing and production pressroom operations, a reasonable variation in colour between colour proofs and the completed job shall constitute acceptable delivery.
16. Production schedules.
Production schedules will be established and adhered to by customer and Screen Machine UK Limited, provided that neither shall incur any liability or penalty or delays due to state of war, riot, civil disorder, fire strikes, accidents, action of Government or civil authority and acts of God or other causes beyond the control of customer or Screen Machine.
17. Screen Machine UK Limited refuses to print racist, hateful and copyrighted designs.
18. Print position, due to the manual nature of loading the garments and the make up of garments Screen Machine UK Limited cannot guarantee the print will be in the same position on every shirt. We will of course endeavour to offer consistency, however this will not constitute a reason for rejecting a print job.
19. Artwork approval.
A proof of your design will be sent to you prior to printing, please check it carefully for design and spelling, once you approve the artwork Screen Machine UK Limited will not be liable for any mistakes.
20. Overruns and underruns.
Overruns and underruns not to exceed the industry standard 5% of the amount ordered will constitute acceptable delivery unless otherwise specified. An appropriate credit will be made for the under amount. All underruns shall be charged at the unit price of the order. If buyer requests "no less than" or "Ship Complete" delivery, we will do our best to accomodate a complete order as specified.
